UNB Forestry Field Camp – New Brunswick

Held each fall, UNB’s Forestry Field Camp brings Forestry and Environmental Management students into the field for immersive, hands-on learning.

As part of the program, Irving Woodlands hosts students for a day of real-world experience, exploring harvesting operations, road and bridge construction, tree nurseries, and forest protection.

The camp connects classroom learning with practical application, giving students meaningful exposure to modern forest management and potential career pathways.

It’s part of our wider collaboration with the University of New Brunswick, working together to strengthen talent retention and drive economic growth in New Brunswick and beyond.
